About This Project
The owners had 15 acres on a wooded ridgeline in Baxter County and a vision they'd been refining for years: a home that felt like it grew out of the hillside. They wanted every main living space to face east for morning light, a wraparound porch deep enough to sit on during a rainstorm, and a kitchen built for a family that cooks together every night.
We walked the land three times before placing the foundation — studying drainage patterns, identifying the trees worth keeping, and finding the exact elevation where the porch would catch both the sunrise and the prevailing breeze. The result is a 2,800 square foot steel-framed home with stone and cedar siding, hardwood throughout, and sight lines that make every room feel twice its size. Completed on budget through our 3-Gate Process with zero change orders.
